IPL Mumbai Indians vs SunRisers Hyderabad Highlights: SRH beat Mumbai by 31 runs
A fine bowling display by SunRisers Hyderabad helped them beat Mumbai Indians by 31 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash on Tuesday. Siddarth Kaul (3/23) stood out for the visitors as he took wickets at regular intervals to help his team edge Mumbai. Rashid Khan (2/11) continued to shine with his deliveries and Basil Thampi (2/4) also chipped in with some good bowling display. Barring Suryakumar Yadav (34) and Krunal Pandya (24), no Mumbai batsman could muster a double-digit score in their run chase. Poor shot selections coupled with some good bowling display by SRH saw Mumbai succumb to their fifth loss of the season.
Earlier, a brilliant bowling display by Mumbai helped them bundle out Hyderabad for 118 on Monday. SRH were all-out in 18.4 overs courtesy some good bowling display by Mumbai. SRH skipper Kane Williamson started off well and looked like going for the big one again, but his innings was halted on 29 by Hardik Pandya, who had a good run with the ball. Incidentally, Williamson's score was also the highest for SRH. Mitchell McClenaghan (2/22) bowled a fiery spell early as he dismissed Shikhar Dhawan (5) and Wriddhiman Saha (0) in the second over of the match. Manish Pandey (16) also got a start but a poor shot selection by him led to his dismissal. SRH wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Yusuf Pathan played a gritty knock of 29 runs but it hardly troubled the Mumbai outfit. Mumbai deserves the credit for putting forth a good disciplined bowling display.
